But if you do those things, and you're never satisfied, and you can't figure out what drives you, and no praise is ever good enough, and you feel like your decision is possibly breaking up your parents' marriage, you win, but lose, is all I'm saying."
Godfrey: "I think you just killed a girl. That's gonna cost you some points."

Sam: "Fame is ultimately about corruption... of your life, your dreams, your normalcy, all for some attention that's not really real to begin with. And if you want to make that sacrifice then that's cool and fine, but..."
